I am a Surfer
The tropical breeze runs through the beach.
Heavy waves cut into the sand.
The gnarliest surfers battle the perfect glassy faces.
Longboard calmly in hands, sparkled in sand.
The whole ten feet of it skims the water, leaving behind the beach.
The shore is scattered with intrigued faces.
Boom. Boom. Boom. Waves strike faces.
Arms tire with paddling, feeling heavy like wet sand.
Alone, the closest person is miles away on the beach.
The wave, vibrating with energy, rampages towards the beach.
Cutbacks and snapbacks, the board can do all that it faces.
Finish the ride, smiling and proud, glistening with sand.
