Fading Youth
Do not wish your youth away,
It will leave you on its own,
You will miss your young days,
When you’re hurt and all alone,
Things won’t stay this simple,
Life won’t always be a game,
The world will keep on spinning,
When you’ve lost what kept you sane,
Your time is growing shorter,
Fate is stealing away your years,
There isn’t too much longer,
Until you have to face your fears,
So treasure every moment,
Live them all like they won’t last,
Because you won’t know until it hits you:
How much you miss the past.
