The waves rock you
The melody of the sea,
lulls you to sleep
His arms lift you
The bliss that awaits,
seems ever so peaceful
Jolts knock you down
The impending paradise,
slips through your fingers
What was is gone
But the music of life,
pulls you back
A strike of pain
As you wake the agony of reality,
hits like a stone and shakes you
Your heart crumbles
And your soul caves in,
longing for what once was
