Smoke
Kissing is a lot like
Lighting your cigarette with mine
And love is a lot like
The smoke rings you blow
And it tastes like warmth
On cold days with shaking hands
Your arms are a physical addiction
Sometimes I put the cigarette between my lips
Just to feel them there,
I don't even need a light
And when you leave I feel how I do
After I stomped out the last embers
Better, and worse at the same time
Because I've been satisfied for now
But I will miss you again
And after a while of you coming and going
I can feel the you tarring in my heart
Like the smoke in my lungs
I wonder
Which will
kill me
