fatal
I think about the words at night
in silent contemplation, they have me
pressed against a cold window,
gathering condensed breath upon the icy glass.
I swear I didn't cause any harm
bearing these worthless fruits of thought.
the words I said you said
the words that forged life on their own
and slowly lifted me like a rock
to examine the contents underneath.
mom, I didn't see it coming
how is that?
all my life in training and
one minute rips all of the stitches away.
inside I am grey and the sad fact is,
nobody expected anything else.
in theory, I am the next stage of evolution
living without a so called "soul"
how desirable!
breed out the dirty attribute
human pig computerized
my machine responses are
just the remedy you've been looking for.
the words..
shooting open my eyes like dying stars
I remember them again again again
fearful fatal flaw
the memory
