Beast of My Life

The beast is crawling
Won’t let me go
Now I am falling
Am I your show?
How long can I take this?
How long must I wait
How long ‘til it leaves me
In a comatose state.
I breathe in the water
I take in no air
My life has been altered
I am not spared
The beast is now laughing
It tears me apart
It leaves me in anguish
With a broken heart
This is my story
Tis sad but true
The bad part is
It’s all about you!
The one I had loved
The one I did trust
You laughed at my love
And left me crushed
So leave me now
Just leave me be
Take this pain
And set me free
