Lost deep within my soul,
Should I reach for light and good,
Or surround myself with darkness.
Do I sail towards the sun,
Pure joyful yet bright and warm,
Don't get to close you might get burned.
I could take a step in towards night,
Be engulfed by the cold darkness,
But the only shine is the small dazzle of stars.
Here I am in the galaxy,
With two different paths to take,
Do I dive into happiness or risk the dark.
