Alone
Standing here not knowing what to do
I turned around, looking only for you
You don’t know what it’s like
To see you everyday
To have spent so much time with you
And still feel like you know nothing at all
To sit with a group of friends
But not be there with them
To feel like there’s always a barrier
Between you and the rest of world
To look at your best friend
Knowing even they don’t know your secret
The one person you want to tell,
Is no where to be found
They left before, without regret
To know they don’t care
I die a little every day
Because you’re no longer there.
