Our Devils
It all seemed so wonderful
So perfect
Like we'd be saved from our own hell
But that all ended
They say it was because we didn't "knock on wood"
That's why we re'entered hell
That's supposedly why the devil inside us tried to kill us again
Our own body's were trying to kill us
But it wasn't our minds doing it
It was someone or something else doing it to us
Someone else swallowing the pills, taking the knife, hanging the rope, jumping off the bridge, driving into something, walking in front of the moving vehicle, or drinking the toxins
"It was them, not me"
Those are the only worlds we managed to get out
But it doesn't matter
Nobody was hearing us anyways...
