Slightly Bizarre
I am lying with my back on dew damp grass
The world is slowly turning
The sky rotating
Mocking my protesting logic
And nauseated corneas
I just lie here
And stare
With too wide eyes
Frozen in time
Trapped in the amber
Of lethargy
Each breath
Captures the hushed roar
Of an ocean
I am drifting away
Far away
I don’t think that I can ever get back
I don’t think that I want to
