Y.O.U
I never thought I'd fall for you
but I can't stop this rose tint
crawling up my cheeks
when you say my name
I want to spill my jam jar of raspberry secrets all over you kitchen floor
and for you to fix us both
shattered but sweet
paper airplanes of feelings for you
nosediving in the 1 am darkness
I never had very good aim
but I was kinda hoping you'd bring it back to me
with bent wings
a grass-stained tip
and a kiss goodnight
If it rain sit pours
and I want to be under your umbrella
breathing heavily cause you're so damn close
I could reach out
and take a sip of your espresso eyes
feel the swirling steam flush my face
because it's YOU
I know we are a three-legged reach
but I want to know what it feels like to be attached to your heart
tied up in knots of tangled emotion
stumbling towards the finish
together
