Falling For Her
I walk the halls
Nothing special about today
Or at least that’s what I thought
Then, I saw her
Waving like a queen
My queen
I wish she were my queen
Our eyes locked
This feeling inside of me
Was too overwhelming
She winked
It felt like I was falling
But I hadn’t tripped
I was falling for her
Falling in love
For her
I couldn’t stop
No point of reference to hold on to
I slipped, not on something slippery
But on a feeling, an instinct
I was curled up on the floor
Fetal position
But I was still walking down that hallway
Smiling at her
I had taken a hard fall
But nobody could tell
Except her
Always her
Because she had fallen, too
