White Water
I fell down to my waves
The wind ripped through me, with a force I couldn’t explain
My under carriage was worn down
I held onto my main leech for a purpose though
Holding on to the parts of me that were ready to sink
I always promised I would remain strong
I would never go down without a fight
So this is why I continue to go with the wind
Why I don’t let the bow and stern steer
Then at the moment of calm water,
Out of all these broken parts, I am holding you instead
