don't dare wake me up
If I need to fall
don't hesitate to pick me up
If I want to fly
don't clip my wings
If I want to dance
don't let me dance alone
If I need to cry
don't let someone else dry my eyes
If I need to lean
don't let it be another shoulder
If I have to be weak
don't let another be the wall to hold me up
If I need to run
don't just watch me go
If I need to laugh
don't let someone else tell the joke
If I need someone
don't just walk away
And if you're wondering-
I'll need you someday.
