Finally seeing the light
January 23, 2014
I look at them and see radiance
But then I look at myself
And am disappointed
I see just a faint glow
Barley even a pulse of light
And then with every second it grows dimmer
As I despair of all my faults
Yet they look at me like
I am the source of never ending brightness
And slowly, ever so slowly the light
Grows brighter and brighter with every second
Until even I can see it within me
And I finally see what they saw all along
