Karsha
Karsha
Her long, shiny ebony hair
Drapes over her broad shoulders
While she struts down the halls.
Her hips swing from side to side
Melodically,
As if her hips were the pendulum
Of a grandfather clock.
People cannot help but
Stop and stare
With mesmerized looks
And widened eyes.
All of them,
Jealous,
Of her milky chocolate skin.
Boys rush towards her
But she pushes them away
Because there is only one she wants.
He drapes his arms around her
And they both head off in the distance
To the Short Bus
