stuck
its hard. You know, getting caught up in the moment.
Losing yourself in somebody.
It hurts, getting your heart demolished, letting your
guard down without any assurance.
Diving head first into fresh, mushy cement.
And that's what wrecked me.
Over what seemed like the shortest time ever,
the cement molded around me, drying,
making its fine finish. And then I was stuck.
Dodging aimlessly at the,“i love you's”, the,
“i'm sorry's”, the, “i promises”. I slowly but
surely began to become exhausted. All of
the late nights staying up with the moons
shadow on my face, just were not worth it anymore.
Every song I heard, every movie I watched, I saw her.
Every sting just left me open wounded.
