I hate you
I hate that I love you but you can't seem to love me
I hate that you took the key to my heart and walked away
You didn't have the dignity to even look back
You didn't see those tears running down my face
You didn't see when my heart started to break
You didn't see when my mind said, "I told you so."
And I will hate you everyday for it
I hate how much i love
I can't stand how much I need
And every time I hear your voice, all I want to do is cry a little more
So collect your jar of hearts as my tears run down my cheek leaving salt on your picture frame
Make me regret the day I looked into your eyes and said I love you back
Because one day you will be like Bruno Mars singing
My pride, my ego, my needs, and my selfish ways
Caused a good, strong woman like you to walk out my life
Now I never, never get to clean up the mess I made
And it haunts me every time I close my eyes
