BROKEN WINGS

Test my might
Test my will
For love I'll fight
You know the drill:

Silver armor
Sharpened sword
Prepare for battle
I'm your reward

Take me captive
Bound me still
Let love's chalice
Overfill

(Well) I'm in love
If that's a crime
I'll fight before
I do the time

Come on, Love
It's time for war
We can take
The noise and gore

In the night
We lie awake
And ponder what
We have at stake

Take a bandage
Dress my wounds
We must fight through
Our tough cocoons

(Come on, Love)
Our shields cling
As we connect
Our Broken Wings
