i.
you found a home in the stars, but
they never really cared for you;
you never shone as brightly
as you thought you did

ii.
you turned me inside-out and you
poured me out onto the floor;
the sounds of your gnashing teeth
have yet to leave my ears—
chew, swallow, consume

iii.
when i became a planet, you
tore your chest out just to
spite me; it’s funny because i
never had a heart

I find myself the victim of this poem. Beautiful. And eye-opening to myself personally. thank you.
