What wakes you up in the morning?
Could it be a nightmare causing your limbs to spring to
life and sprawl across the cotton sheets?
Or is it the morning air barreling in through the window
filling your lungs with sweet oxygen and your nose with
a scent of freshly cut grass.
How about reality? Has the thought of tomorrow kept
you awake all night, wondering where you’re going to
be five, ten, twenty years from now?
For me, it is my alarm clock, screaming at the top of its
battery operated lungs begging me to rise and become
something in the world today.
What wakes you up in the morning?
