My Mind
Falling through a blackened void of nothingness
I am alone with my thoughts
They scream to be released
But silence prevails
My mind bursts at the seams
As I am ripped apart from the inside
Pounding pounding pounding in my head
So painful that hot salt water escapes my eyes
Silence
The voices at peace
Finally…
But the quiet is too wary
BOOM
Like an atomic bomb
Rivers of pain, sorrow, joy, and everything
Flow from me like a never-ending waterfall
Drained and exhausted I lie still
The void surrounding me is filled
My body is nothing more than an empty shell
Everything that was myself is now on display
