Slow Moon
As the slow moon grew over winter,
taking over the flowers,
giving their petals splinters.
I found myself aware of the cold.
With no one to love,
And no one to hold.
But there he stood under and evening bright light.
Warming the weather with all of his might.
There I was face frozen, heart stunned.
I knew at that moment that he was the one.
The one and only that was strong enough to be my sun.
I hope he never ever runs.
