the scars left behind
I find it funny,
the fact that ignore this, as if it was never to occur.
As if all those marks were mistakes, a misunderstanding of life.
The wrong choice you made once,
a misplaced step.
I'm curios to know, what hurts more,
feeling the regret behind every cut, every scar, or the pretending of it being an accident.
These scars are just as alive as that boy you once loved.
The memories in your mind are far more hurtful than every scar on your skin. I know the world will judge me,judge you, and everyone in it.
All though these scars were my own judgement, my mistake in life, but I wont let these scars remind me of my painful regretful past. These scars are the only true thing I have in life. I'm not ashamed, I'm proud.
They remind me of who I am today.
These scars are left behind, but these scars are my own story.
