Sanity
I can sit on this ledge
because I am certain of my own insanity.
You, however,
are not.
I know what would happen were I to fall, or, better yet,
jump.
You have never considered your life
as something to toss to the winds.
I have,
and,
I do.
I know the rush of wind past my face
from the top of the Empire State Building,
because I have fallen, multiple times.
All realities must be reflected,
before one can be chosen
wisely.
I can sit on this ledge,
because I know I will come back down.
You, however,
will not.
