answering the siren call of gravity

it is beyond anything
everything
any and all that ever has
or will be …
I am falling faster than sound
faster than light
yet slower than my heartbeat …
why had I resisted for so long
it is glorious
why do people speak of flying?
falling is better
more free
more natural
I never want to fly
just let me fall forever
