saturday, 6:35 p.m.
lately she dreamed away her
days, staring into the ever
encompassing sun; the great
red abyss
of what it means to be living.
and she pondered over what
occurred when the sun descended
each night, leaving her alone
in her frivolties of wretched
despair, that only afflicts
those young and alone or old
and afraid. its bright red rings
were replaced by the dusty
stars in the pale moonlight - if
only until the dawn ripped
through the horizon and
she could begin again
dreaming
