Human Nature
A rear view mirror fogged because we choose to not remember that we arose from anguish
and on the way down the wavy road we only pray when we feel conquered
we find comfort in fornication and self medication
while in meditation we reach deep inside of ourselves, learning and yearning for more of these great discoveries only to discover that we are human
and that there is a place in our souls where the light turns to darkness
we sometimes feel the need to embrace this place and live there without care of other's thoughts
and then we're brought back to the other side where we hide in fear of that part of ourselves
so we walk a mile all in smiles and keep the pain withheld.
