Tomb of Sorrows
The crisp cold night chilled her skin,
as she placed down the rose.
Here lies her hope,
Dreams and nightmares.
She was happy he was gone,
her sorrows buried with him.
As did the abuse, neglect and horrors,
that he brought to her world.
Her young mind couldn't comprehend,
he was truly dead.
The moonlight shadowed her fragile form and life,
as it sucks out her joy.
Her green eyes fill with tears,
and she falls onto the frosted ground.
No one will find her or her secrets,
they are buried with him.
Her life, her brother,
as she shuts her eyes.
Here lies the little girl,
in her Tomb of Sorrows.
