Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you will land among the stars.

She was

Somnambulating

In

Broad Daylight.

She was

Soliloquising

In

A Room Full of people.

She was

Fiddling with a viola

She did not know

How to play.

She was

Swimming

Through a flotsam

Of oblivion.

She was tapping her feet

To a tune,

Which

Dissipated into thin air.

She was

Humming

To Herself,

Out of the earshot

Of everyone.

She was

Far from Alive

When

The sun sank.

She was

Caught in

A whirlwind

Of Clamouring

Memories.

This piece pretty much describes a phase in my life, a point of time when I was akin to the girl spoken of in the poem, fickle minded and wavering.
