The Storm In Me
You were there when the lightning flashed in my eyes
You were there when the thunder rolled in my heart
You were there when the tornado whirled through my mind
You were there when the tsunami washed over my face
You were there when the earthquake shook me
But you weren’t there when the sun came out
You weren’t there when the sounds stopped
You weren’t there when the wind dried my face
You weren’t there when I was reformed
You were only there when the times were hard
Once they eased up you left looking for another challenge
I guess I wasn’t enough for you

You only need twenty seconds of insane courage, to be brave, and nobody will ever question your being.
