I'm learning to rejoice:
Even though people get deathly sick. Even though people loses their jobs.
Even though people are homeless.
Even though I'm hurt inside.
Even though life isn't easy.

I'm learning to rejoice:
In things done wrong.
In mistakes made.
In words I can't take back.
In friendships estranged.
In lives ruined.
In tears shed.

Little by little, I'm learning to rejoice.
