Colors And Lights
I look to the world and see no light,
I see pain and suffering,
And some hoping to die.
I look at the ones, tossed to the side,
Seen worthless in society's eyes.
I see those who are well off,
Who forget that they are the same as everyone else.
I feel a crowding sigh,
And shake my head with a tear in my eye.
To change the world doesn't mean conforming,
Or else nothing will ever change.
But don't blame your neighbor for the earth's demise,
'Cause passing the blame just adds to the demise.
You must embrace who you are,
And others will see,
And the world will change like 1..2..3.
