Feelings That Never Die
When you try so hard,
You begin to give up,
You forget to hide,
Your real feelings inside,
Because after the hundred-millionth time,
You don't care what shows in your eyes,
You don't care who decides,
If you're cool or not,
You become bold,
Your soul becomes cold,
You fear only failure,
But, maybe not even that,
You live with the pain,
You live in vain,
You forget your own name,
Changing yourself over and over,
Saying you don't even care,
When really,
It's to show that one person,
That one person who didn't care,
That you are over them,
Even though,
It's the one secret you keep inside,
Because those feelings will never die.
