My Time
I hold onto my bed for dear life
I know I am between life and death
Ripping me apart like tug of war
But why do I have to go at 24?
Have I really made my mark in this world?
Will the people I love have trouble going on?
I'm sorry I can't say good-bye to you
But my cancer has chosen to take me away tonight
I am all alone waiting for death to finally win this war
I'm ready for my time to come
I will miss you, but I want to go
And I can't wait for the day when you come and join me
I hear a long beep
And wait for a lifetime deep sleep.
