Rainbow
Don't look child
It's too painful for you to see
Pretend not to know
But you have since you could speak
No one wants to hear it
But they all know its true
They don't even try to fight it
They ignore the blue patches
And the red stains on the carpet
Accepting his reasons
And apologies
They are of no value to me
But the only thing they say is, "Look at that beautiful rainbow."
Rainbows comfort the sky after it cries
Acting as if there never were tears
It's just a replacement of the gray no one wants to see
But the gray is full of beauty to me
And reminds me of all we've been through
But now that you're gone
My rainbow is getting harder and harder to see.
