A smile like a sickness,
Do you even feel anymore?
Skin once so clean,
Now you can't scrub it off.
Marks of the past
Visible today
Scars from stubborn pain
Faded to stay.

The author's comments:
This is about how I dealt with my depression. It takes a harsh look at anybody who self harms, but I personally am more sympathetic to those who suffer the same addiction as me.

So sad, yet it's amazing. I hope people learn from this poem, that they're still a treasure even if they do or used to do self-harm. I can relate to this somehow. It has a connection to me for some reason. Keep on!!! You're a wonderful writer, a treasure!!! ^_^ thank you, for sharing this!!!
