Walking Waste
An empty shell walks an ever-changing wasteland,
Not knowing it’s purpose, not knowing why it goes on.
It’s only hope is to find a partner,
Someone to walk the wasteland with.
But even then, it would remain desolate,
An empty shell, devoid of emotion,
Wandering aimlessly through the same pointless thoughts,
Finding no purpose, finding no reason to go on.
In that instant, it’s hope is reached,
It walks the wasteland with apathy, at it’s side.
But still the shell remains empty, devoid of passion.
