Life's Web
I lay, thinking of the past,
I realized what has come to pass.
All had a meaning, was all connected,
If only I could see the strings.
A glimpse, if I’m lucky,
Which I know I never am.
But no, I go on In faith,
Not knowing the string I follow,
Not knowing what lies ahead.
But to think, what I would have missed,
Had I snipped the string.
