In the soft reflection broken by rain,
Two clouded seas stare back,
Dazed by the early-morning stir.
With every step, the surrounding woods fidget,
Sensing a case of unrest.
Looking back, her tracks have drown,
Killing her very existence.
Now lost, she seeks familiar ground,
Only to find her dying self,
On the cusp of discovering freedom.
Yet time has served its purpose,
And following in her own footsteps,
She’s already drown.
