Freedom
In seventeen seventy-six
Seems like a million years ago
At the bottom of the page
Signed fifty-six
We were free from the Brits
And now a free country
we thought we were
We saw some years later
That is wasn't entirely true
With slavery on the rise
Separating the gray from the blue
Blood was shed
By brothers of blood
Death permeated the east
We fought and we fought
Till we were finally done
We fought through the years
None of them were fun
Then 9-11 came
They woke up a giant
That won't back down
Today they still fight
Over the seas
So I can go to school
And say "God Bless Thee"
Oh Patriots of the USA
I hope you understand
That our Freedom isn't Free
