Fighting everyday just because I want you to be with me
I seemed to have looked at you as I was living a fairy tale
My heart believes in chasing in what my dreams appears to be
And trying to turn you into that dream guy isn't working as it seems
I seem to have made a lot of bad mistakes in my life but trying to make you that guy it just isn't it

I love this poem because it makes a good point that sometimes is hard for people to grasp. As you said, life isn't like in a fairy tale. I think this poem shows this really well because in fary tales, everyone is perfect, but in your poem, you show that people are people and you can't change their imperfections. Great job!
