i will listen listen listen to the words you have to say and we will communicate in the ways
of a truly superior species,
understanding each others thoughts and feelings within each breathy pause.
we will grasp our love within our sweaty palms
and hold it like a truly fragile insect,
coaxing it's light to the surface
with each kiss and secret unfurled.
