Without You
If I could hold a piece of you
in hell I’d thank the gods in heaven
for torment because
without you
heaven’s greatest wonders
would appear dull
because
where’s the sunlight
on my skin
without you?
I wander about in a
cloak of emptiness
without you,
my own ghost reflects
you;
I am nothing
yet appear only
with you.
If I could hold a piece
of you
my nothing, glass of empty Being
would be filled glad to
make Eternity briefly tremble
for a piece of
your beauty.
