Silence
Sitting in a corner, trying to hide from the world
Beginning to believe that people are no long my friends
They are monsters that eat each other alive
With a little more drama each day, I watch everyone fade away
Maybe happiness got lost along the way to adulthood
Nearing this milestone I notice not many people are high on life
Where did the hope and mystery go?
Was it eaten by reality?
Will we ever know?
Suddenly, hope runs away and the grins drain for a final time
Randomly a hand comes from the sky and asks to go for a walk.
Maybe my loneliness has a friend today.
One could only hope.
