believe the light

I believe in the light
hope, and happiness.
To see the light
is to fight.
I believe no darkness will win.
In the light will live happiness.
I believe the darkness will hide.
In the hope I will feel no pain.
I believe the darkness will cease to exist.
In the light we will find hope, happiness, life, and love.
I believe no matter what the darkness does,
The light will find it.
I believe in the light.

I really loved reading this poem - It has a great message and you did an amazing job portraying your ideas. I especially liked how you started and ended with "I believe in the light"

I really like this. There's a sense of defiance about this poem that really works well when comparing light to darkness. The vocabulary that you use hints to the sense of a battle being raged in which the outcome is inevitable. This is a great symbol of hope and accomplishment. Great job!
