A Million Tears
She cried a million tears,
Over the boy who gave her all her fears,
She stood silent, tears falling from her face,
Watching, waiting, widening her pace,
She looked at the boy with desire in her eyes,
Then told her friend it was him she despised
This huge mountain of troubles in her way,
Faded as she began to pray,
The mountains came down with a crash,
It was then that she took her dash,
She looked at the pile of troubles at her feet,
This mountain was not such a huge defeat,
“You weren’t so hard to beat,
I just needed to trust my feet.”
