Dancing under a toadstool
under the stars,
a moonbeam being her stage light.
Graceful feet gliding,
hands swinging
smiling widening.

Wearing a gown of pink petals
and a silver brooch,
she was as radiant as the sunshine.
Golden curls bounced down her back,
outlining her round face
And the sparkle in her eyes was unforgettable.

Creatures of the forest stood and gawked.
There was a deer with bulging eyes,
a toad with an open mouth,
And robin who swayed with the wind.

Trees rustled,
frogs croaked,
and a songbird sang it's tune.
That was the music: A soulful melody
of nature and peace.
Meanwhile that one fairy danced her dance
till dawn sent all animals home
and left her stage empty.
Not for long, for the same festivities will be resumed
the next night.

Nadi, this is really, really good! I love the imagery, not to mention the beautiful vocab words you used. Remind me to teach you what parallel structure is. You used it with no training which is great, and shows you have real talent. This poem is beautiful, absolutely beautiful, and you captured a truely vivid, imagenary scene with mere words. Lovely!
