Wings of Time
Upon the wings of Time we fly,
Watching the years diminish on by.
Upon the wings of Time we fly,
Collecting the memories,
That are left behind.
Upon the wings of Time we fly,
Projecting the memories in our minds,
Where we suppress them from time,
Holding them precious,
Even after the days we die.
Upon the wings of Time we soar,
Living intertwined, within the years once more.
Upon the wings of Time we soar,
Exploring what’s in store,
Always grasping for more.
Upon the wings of time,
We try to hide the inscription,
That is marked on us every time,
A year passes on by.
Upon the wings of time,
We try to hide our age,
Within our days.
Upon the wings of Time,
We try to hide who we are,
From day to day
By the things we say,
By the things we do.
Thus, NEVER remaining TRUE
Upon the wings of Time,
We collide with the end of our lives.
Along the tears of Time we glide,
Leaving our impression of our world behind.
