Frozen Blue
Frozen flecks pierce and pick
Ice with intricate designs,
Cool and fresh,
Swirls and spirals,
Sustained only in flight,
Melting instantaneously
When touched by rays of light,
Trickled own a frozen branch
Drops and shatters quickly,
Warmth thaws a world of ice
Water takes its place,
No longer silent
Instead a drumming beat,
Carve out the valleys
Leave its name behind,
Extinguish strong perfumes
Emanating from flower beds,
Leave a temporary trace,
Cleanse the world of sorrow,
Sadness,
And
Stress,
Replace it with happiness,
Build a bubbling rainbow,
Never a consistent plan,
Unexpected,
But predictable,
A sudden freeze,
The ice returns,
The sorrow is sustained,
To be met by sunlight once again
